1. Wind and solar power reach 37GW! Liaoning Province's carbon peak implementation plan is released!
Recently, the People's Government of Liaoning Province issued the "Notice on Liaoning Province's Carbon Peak Implementation Plan". The Notice points out that efforts will be made to promote the large-scale development and high-quality development of clean energy such as wind power and photovoltaics. By 2025, the total installed capacity of wind power and solar power will reach more than 37 million kilowatts.
2. 145,000 yuan/ton! Polysilicon prices drop sharply!
On May 10, the China Silicon Industry Association announced the latest polysilicon prices this week. The price of polysilicon fell further this week. The price range of domestic recycled materials is 150,000-167,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 160,300 yuan/ton, a week-on-week decrease of 11.97%; the price range of monocrystalline dense materials is 148,000-165,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 157,900 yuan/ton, a week-on-week decrease of 12.62%.
3. Three Gorges Energy: Newly installed photovoltaic capacity in 2022 is 1.8722 million kilowatts
On May 10, Three Gorges Energy released the record of the 2022 annual and 2023 first quarter performance briefing. Three Gorges Energy stated that in 2022, the company's newly installed capacity was 3.5252 million kilowatts, including 300,000 kilowatts of new offshore wind power, 1.353 million kilowatts of new onshore wind power, and 1.8722 million kilowatts of new solar power.
4. Construction of the 1.1 million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project in Kashgar area of Xinjiang Tarim Oilfield starts
On April 30, the first supporting energy storage photovoltaic power generation project implemented by PetroChina - the 1.1 million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project in Kashgar area started. The project consists of the 600,000 kilowatt photovoltaic project in Jiashi County and the 500,000 kilowatt photovoltaic project in Yecheng County, and is the first market-oriented grid-connected power generation project of Tarim Oilfield.
5. TCL Zhonghuan adjusts prices again, with silicon wafers dropping by up to 15.83%!
On May 11, TCL Zhonghuan announced the latest silicon wafer prices. The price of P-type 218.2 size silicon wafers dropped by 15.83% to 6.91 yuan, a sharp drop of 1.3 yuan compared with 8.21 yuan on May 5. In addition, the P-type 210 silicon wafer dropped by 1.2 yuan, quoted at 6.4 yuan per piece. Other P-type and N-type silicon wafers also fell to varying degrees.
6. Longi Green Energy: This year's battery module shipment target is 85GW
The latest news just announced by Longi Green Energy shows that the company's 2023 battery module shipment target is 85GW, of which the European and American markets account for about 30% of the total sales target, and the shipment proportion of HPBC products is expected to be 15%-20%. At this stage, the company's HPBC is fully producing at full capacity.
7. Inner Mongolia Tongwei's 120,000-ton industrial silicon project is filed
On May 9, the Development and Reform Commission of Dalhan Muminggan Joint Banner released information on the filing of the industrial project of Inner Mongolia Tongwei Green Base Material Co., Ltd.'s wind-solar coupled green power silicon production integration project on the Inner Mongolia government service website. The project covers an area of about 1,020 mu and plans to build a production line with an annual output of 120,000 tons of industrial silicon.

8. Australia's cumulative photovoltaic installed capacity reaches 29.7GW
The International Energy Agency's "2022 Photovoltaic Market Annual Report" details the status of Australia's photovoltaic market. The report shows that Australia has installed a total of 29.7GW of photovoltaic systems and at least 3.36 million rooftop solar systems. Australia remains among the top ten in terms of new installed capacity and total market capacity.
9. The Italian government approves another 593MW of agrivoltaic projects
The Italian Council of Ministers has authorized the construction of 13 agrivoltaic projects with a total capacity of 593.6MW to further simplify the development process of large-scale installations across the country. Among the approved projects, 12 are located in the southern region of Apulia, and the remaining one is planned to be deployed in the neighboring region of Basilicata.
