The project is located within the Hunan Institute of Metrological Testing (Hengshan Laboratory Headquarters), with an installed capacity of 0.16MW and a total investment of approximately 600,000 yuan. It was grid-connected and began generating electricity in April 2025, with an annual power output of about 150,000 kW·h and an annual CO₂ reduction of approximately 150 metric tons.
The project actively responds to national energy conservation and carbon reduction policies, effectively implementing the requirement for public institutions to introduce social capital investment in green energy. It successfully achieves an organic integration of social, environmental, and economic benefits, supplying stable sustainable energy for the institute's scientific research activities and ensuring their green operation. While reducing energy costs, it explores a viable business model for green energy investment in public institutions.
