Changsha Food Waste Harmless Treatment and Residual Gas Utilization Project

The project was approved by the Kaifu District Development and Reform Commission of Changsha on December 18, 2017. With an installed capacity of 4.5MW and a total investment of approximately 36 million yuan, it was grid-connected and began generating electricity in February 2018.

The project not only achieves harmless treatment of fermentation gas, eliminating safety hazards and improving local air quality, but also provides clean energy and promotes low-carbon emission reduction initiatives. Additionally, it enables waste heat recovery and utilization, reduces food waste treatment costs, and enhances the living welfare of plant staff. It serves as a typical example of "food waste resource utilization" and "cascading energy utilization."
