To promote corporate culture building, enrich employees' spare time, and enhance team cohesion, the Third Tendering Business Department of Zhongji Group carried out its annual team-building activity. The destination of this activity was Mount Wuyi in Fujian Province, the hometown of Zhuzi Neo-Confucianism, where Zhu Xi, the famous Neo-Confucianist of the Southern Song Dynasty, lived, wrote and lectured for as long as 50 years.

On September 3rd, here we came to Mount Wuyi!

After a three-and-a-half-hour drive, we arrived at Mount Wuyi. After having lunch and taking a short rest, everyone took a group photo at the foot of the mountain, marking the start of the team-building activity.

Mount Wuyi features Danxia landform. Along the way, mountains were covered with lush greenery, and waterfalls and springs flowed. Everyone was intoxicated by the picturesque scenery. However, the weather in the mountains was changeable, and a sudden rain made climbing more difficult, but it did not dampen the steps and enthusiasm of the team members. "Not afraid of floating clouds obscuring my view, for I stand atop the peak as the highest!" At the moment of successfully reaching the summit, all the fatigue along the way was swept away. A cohesive and action-oriented team can easily overcome any difficulties and obstacles. This is probably the best interpretation of team value.

September 4th: Tianyou Peak — Drifting on the Jiuqu Stream

On the second day, we followed in the footsteps of Xu Xiake to climb Tianyou Peak, the most perilous peak in Wuyi. Tianyou Peak has an altitude of 408 meters and a relative height of 215 meters. Being in it feels like being in a fairyland, roaming in the heavenly palace, hence the name "Tianyou" (roaming in the sky).

After two days of mountain climbing, everyone ushered in a relaxing part of the journey — drifting on the Jiuqu Stream by bamboo raft. As the poem goes, "A small boat breaks the ripples, and when the Jiuqu Stream ends, the mountains are even more marvelous." The Jiuqu Stream originates from the densely forested Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve. Wuyi Mountain boasts 36 peaks and 99 rocks. With peaks and rocks crisscrossing and streams crisscrossing, the Jiuqu Stream runs through it, meandering for 15 li. It is named "Jiuqu" (Nine Bends) because of its three bends and nine twists.

There were scenic views everywhere along the way. Taking a bamboo raft tour was stable and comfortable with a wide view. We could enjoy the mountain scenery and the water color. Drifting down the stream, with alternating speeds, it was both relaxing and exciting without being dangerous. Immersed in the mountains and waters, the team members couldn't help but marvel at the uncanny craftsmanship of nature.

September 5th: The Legendary "Big Red Robe" — One-Line Sky — Tea Village

After two days of traveling, the third day was the highlight of this trip — the legendary "Big Red Robe" scenic area. As soon as we entered the scenic area, a faint fragrance of tea wafted into our nostrils, immediately making us feel relaxed and happy. Strings of water droplets kept dripping down from the stone walls on both sides, adding more vitality to the place. Along the stream, passing through the tea garden and climbing over a small hillside, we saw six "ordinary" tea trees in the corner of a small tea garden. The guide introduced that these were the legendary "Big Red Robe" tea trees. The team members couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, for such a famous tea, the plants were not as grand and huge as imagined. We observed carefully and found that they were just taller, slimmer and more elegant than other tea trees, but they produced such extraordinary tea leaves. It really proves that "one can't judge a tree by its appearance".

Later, we went to the "One-Line Sky" scenic area. The "One-Line Sky" is like a huge boulder split open by a god with a giant axe in the air, revealing a thin crack. When we first walked into the One-Line Sky, it was bright and spacious, and we could pass through without any effort. But the further we went, it gradually became alternately bright and dark, with bumpy steps and a lot of stagnant water. If we were not careful, we would slip. The team members helped each other to pass through, screaming one after another. It was really full of thrills.

The three-day trip to Mount Wuyi allowed everyone to temporarily bid farewell to the busyness of work and be accompanied by green mountains and clear waters. In the process of climbing the difficult mountains, the team spirit of unity, mutual assistance, cooperation, friendship and cohesion was fully embodied.

This team-building activity made the employees deeply feel the corporate mission of Zhongji Group — "Making Life Better" once again. It is believed that after this team-building activity, everyone will create, strive and work hard with a better state, a more serious attitude and more abundant energy, and grow together with the company!
