On the morning of August 26, Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, Huaihua Volunteer Association, and Huaihua Green Guards Volunteer Service Team jointly organized an environmental protection practice activity, leading primary school students in Huaihua to visit Huaihua No. 2 Garbage Disposal Site operated by Zhongji Nengyuan Group Co., Ltd. The activity aimed to let the children learn about the garbage disposal process, further deepen their understanding of domestic waste classification, and advocate a green, low-carbon and environmental-friendly lifestyle.
The cultivation of environmental protection behaviors cannot rely solely on empty talks; practical experience makes a deeper impression. Under the leadership of volunteers, teachers and students, the children went deep into the garbage disposal site to understand the garbage disposal procedures. This close-up experience of the complexity of garbage disposal, as well as the knowledge of the harm that improperly disposed garbage would bring to the earth, touched the children's young hearts ideologically, making them deeply aware of the importance of environmental protection and enhancing their sense of responsibility to care for and protect the environment.
