On March 1, the official WeChat account of Hunan Provincial Government Offices Administration announced that the first phase of the 4MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project of Hunan Hotel, invested and operated by China Skills Energy Group Co., Ltd., was officially connected to the grid for power generation. This project is also the first distributed photovoltaic power generation project of public institutions in Hunan Province in 2023, with an estimated annual power generation of 470,000 kWh and an annual carbon emission reduction of 470 tons... After the completion of the project, the new energy replacement rate of Hunan Hotel can be as high as 67%.

In November 2022, the Provincial Administration issued the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Construction of Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Projects in Public Institutions Across the Province", encouraging public institutions across the province to develop photovoltaic power generation projects according to local conditions. Hunan Hotel actively implemented the spirit of the document and took the lead in signing a project cooperation agreement with China Skills Energy Group Co., Ltd. This "two-way mutual commitment" not only conforms to the national "3060" carbon peak and carbon neutrality policies and the development direction of green energy, but also implements the policy requirements for public institutions to introduce social capital investment for low-carbon energy conservation. It fully demonstrates social responsibility and plays a significant exemplary and leading role in the industry.
