In his work report, Mr. Xiong Jiong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company, pointed out that since the mid-to-late 18th century, the energy revolution with coal replacing firewood was the key to the success of the Industrial Revolution. The development and utilization of fossil energy, on the one hand, has become a continuous driving force for economic growth; on the other hand, it has caused the global greenhouse effect, leading to a 1.2-degree rise in global temperature, making 2023 the hottest year on Earth. Promoting energy transformation and controlling global temperature rise have become a global consensus.

In recent years, as major global fossil energy producing regions, the Russia-Ukraine war and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict have posed huge challenges to current energy consumption, making energy transformation more urgent. In response to these challenges, accelerating the green energy transformation has become an imperative.

In 2023, we supplied a total of over 57 million kWh of green energy, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 42,500 tons. Over the past 15 years, China Skills Energy has cumulatively reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 271,000 tons through the supply of green energy, making positive contributions to the green energy transformation.

In 2023, we focused on the main business of green energy, worked together with one heart and strived hard to expand the market. The signing of the company's investment projects reached a new high, with a total signed installed capacity of 31.22 megawatts, which greatly exceeded the initial expected 12 megawatts.

In 2023, we strictly controlled the construction quality, overcame difficulties, ensured the safe, orderly and efficient construction of the project, and realized the grid-connected power generation of the distributed photovoltaic power generation projects of Hunan Hotel, Hunan Provincial Forestry Bureau and Hunan Museum.

The achievement of the above results is mainly due to three measures: unifying thoughts, institutional guarantees and consolidating foundations. We adhere to the leadership of the Party, strictly implement the system of "three meetings and one lesson", and encourage grass-roots employees to join the Party. The party-building instructors appointed by the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee went deep into the grass-roots level, gave party lessons to the company's employees for many times, with vivid forms and substantial contents, which promoted the deep integration of party-building work and management work, and led the high-quality development of enterprises with high-quality party building.

In terms of institutional guarantee, by evaluating our own capabilities, in-depth analysis of the macro environment, we formulated the "2023-2025 Development Plan", which has become the foundation of the company's strategic development and the basis for market expansion. We revised the "Project Development Management Measures", focused on the new energy main business, mobilized the enthusiasm of the team more reasonably and scientifically, and promoted the implementation of project development.

In terms of infrastructure construction, we successfully obtained the "Power Facilities Installation (Repair, Test) License (Level 4) Certificate", which provided a strong guarantee for the construction of power stations. We continue to go out to learn from peers and upstream and downstream enterprises to understand the new trends of the industry. We often carry out internal exchanges and project reviews, summarize each experience in time, and transform it into market competitive strength.

In 2024, we will increase investment in green energy, promote the green and low-carbon transformation of public institutions and large enterprises, and strive to sign new investment projects of no less than 200 million yuan throughout the year; we will actively promote the construction of signed projects, and realize no less than 20 megawatts of projects connected to the grid for power generation; we will continue to increase green energy production, with a plan to produce no less than 60 million kWh of green energy throughout the year.

In 2024, we will continue to take "making life better" as our mission and "caring for employees, serving the society and protecting the homeland" as our vision, and strive to contribute to the green energy transformation!
