Recently, the Smart Energy and Carbon System Project of Hunan Commercial Technician College, invested in and constructed by China Tech Energy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Tech Group"), has been officially put into operation. The project consists of 4 subsystems: distributed photovoltaic power generation, new energy charging piles, energy performance contracting, and smart energy-carbon centralized control platform, with a total investment of approximately 20 million yuan. The completion of this project can help Hunan Commercial Technician College achieve intelligent coordination of energy use, optimal control, and all-round energy conservation. Moreover, it will build a demonstration project for green and low-carbon development in public institutions in the province and even across the country.

The distributed photovoltaic power generation subsystem utilizes the idle rooftops and parking spaces of the college's buildings to install photovoltaic modules, covering an area of 12,000 square meters with an installed capacity of 1307.55kWp. This subsystem successfully passed the acceptance of the power supply department and was connected to the grid for power generation on July 19, 2024. After completion, it is expected to generate about 1.25 million kW·h of electricity annually, with an average annual CO₂ emission reduction of approximately 1243 tons, showing significant environmental benefits and accelerating the energy transformation and utilization of national public institutions.

The new energy charging pile subsystem meets the convenience of teachers and students for charging new energy vehicles by installing 120kW integrated DC dual-gun charging piles, 14kW intelligent AC dual-gun charging piles, and electric vehicle charging piles in the college.

The energy performance contracting subsystem has invested in and equipped approximately 100 classrooms in the college, such as Mingli Building, Bowen Hall, Boji Building, and Qiangneng Building, with cabinet air conditioners, implementing centralized energy use control and unified management. This has strengthened the college's management of energy conservation and resource conservation and improved the efficiency of energy and resource utilization.

The smart energy-carbon centralized control platform subsystem will timely collect, display, analyze, intelligently coordinate and control the green energy supply and energy use in the college, realizing an integrated energy-saving and consumption-reducing management and control system featuring digitization of the school's energy use and supply systems, dynamic management, data visualization, and energy-saving indexation.

In the next step, China Tech Group will continue to practice the national "dual carbon" concept, plan for the long term, optimize the layout, take innovation-driven development as the lead, build the advantages of new energy "green electricity", promote the transformation and upgrading of the regional energy structure, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the ecological environment.
