In active response to the national sustainable development strategy and seizing new global ESG opportunities to enhance the corporate understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, the company organized a thematic ESG training session on the morning of December 6th. The training invited Mr. Yan Fengping, Director of the Hunan Office of the China Quality Assurance Center for Training, to deliver a lecture. All employees gathered to learn about ESG concepts and their application within enterprises.
"Against the backdrop of advancing global sustainable development, strengthening ESG management has become a crucial pathway for companies to build long-term value," stated Director Yan Fengping, using this training as a starting point. He systematically explained the global ESG trends, mainstream evaluation standards, key points of supply chain management, practical aspects of report compilation, and the construction of management systems, following a three-tier progressive framework of "concept, system, and action." The training employed a dual-track teaching model combining "theory and case studies," vividly demonstrating how ESG evolves from mere reporting to integrated management and from compliance-driven to value-driven practices, thereby deepening employees' comprehensive understanding of the ESG framework.
Subsequently, Xiong Jiong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and President of ChinaTec Energy, shared the company's practical explorations and planning ideas in the field of sustainable development, aligning with its development strategy and business realities. He pointed out that as an enterprise deeply engaged in integrated energy services, the company consistently upholds the development philosophy of "caring for employees, serving society, and protecting our homeland." It has established a solid foundation in areas such as green energy deployment, protection of employee rights and interests, and compliant operations management. Moving forward, the company will further clarify the strategic direction for sustainable development.
