From February 6th to 8th, 2026, the 6th International Academic Conference on Energy, Power and Advanced Thermal Systems (EPATS 2026) was held in Guangzhou. Xiong Jiong, Chairman and President of ChinaTec Energy Group Co.,Ltd., was invited to attend the conference and delivered a special report entitled Basic Composition and Future Development of Photovoltaic-Storage-Load Microgrid for Public Buildings, sharing the company’s practical achievements and technical insights in the field of energy conservation and carbon reduction for public buildings with international peers.

At present, as a core area of urban energy consumption and carbon emissions, public buildings are confronted with such challenges as a high proportion of energy consumption, prominent carbon emissions and large peak-valley load fluctuations. Against the backdrop of the in-depth advancement of the global energy transition and China’s "Dual Carbon" strategy, the low-carbon transformation of the construction sector has become an inevitable trend, and the traditional energy supply mode is in urgent need of technological innovation to break the predicament.
Having been deeply engaged in the fields of new energy investment and smart energy services for many years, ChinaTec Energy has developed an integrated photovoltaic-storage-load microgrid system. By integrating three core functions of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage regulation and load management, the system can not only efficiently absorb distributed renewable energy but also smooth load fluctuations, accurately addressing the energy pain points of public buildings. Meanwhile, the state has intensively issued a series of policies including Technical Standard for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (GB/T51350-2019) and Work Plan for Accelerating the Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction in the Construction Sector (Guoban Han 〔2024〕 No. 20), which provide solid policy support for the promotion of the technology. The relevant research therefore bears important theoretical value and practical significance.
This appearance at the international academic conference has not only demonstrated ChinaTec Energy’s technological strength and industrial influence, but also built a bridge for international exchanges and cooperation, creating favorable conditions for introducing advanced concepts and elevating the level of innovation.
In the future, taking this conference as an opportunity, ChinaTec Energy will continue to deepen the R&D of core technologies such as artificial intelligence integration and multi-energy synergy and complementarity, improve the technical standard system and market-oriented business models, and reduce project costs. The company will push forward the large-scale and standardized application of the system in various public buildings including office buildings, hospitals and schools, boost the implementation of China’s "Dual Carbon" strategy through technological innovation, and demonstrate the responsibility of ChinaTec in the wave of global energy transition.
