On September 23rd, the Party Working Committee of Dongjing Sub-district held the 2022 Party Member Education Rotation Training Class. Xiong Jiong, Chairman of Zhongji Energy Group, was invited as a guest speaker to share insights based on two chapters from *Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (Volume IV), combined with the company's actual situation.

First, adhering to "putting the people first". The special topic "Always Putting the People First" in Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (Volume IV) vividly interprets the original aspiration and mission of our Party, and fully embodies the people-centered stance and feelings of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core in governing for the people. To do a good job in coordinating epidemic prevention and control with economic and social development, we must rely closely on the people. The people are the greatest source of confidence for our Party in governing, and employees are the most precious wealth of our company. During the epidemic, the staff of Zhongji stuck to the front line, strived for production, and continuously overcame technical difficulties. While ensuring the safe and stable operation of various projects, they alleviated the greenhouse effect, effectively reduced energy consumption, achieved remarkable ecological benefits, and realized a win-win situation between enterprise benefits and social ecological value, thus fulfilling Zhongji's corporate vision of "caring for employees, serving the society, and protecting the homeland". However, achieving the "dual-carbon" goals is an extensive and profound transformation, which cannot be accomplished easily and requires greater efforts. Therefore, enterprises have an inescapable responsibility.
