Recently, ChinaTec (Shaanxi) Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ChinaTec (Shaanxi)") officially signed a cooperation agreement for the PV + EV charging station project with Tongchuan No.1 Automobile Passenger Transport Group Co., Ltd. Adhering to the philosophy of green development and mutual benefit, the two parties will jointly build an integrated green energy demonstration station at Tongchuan Bus Station, Xianfeng Bus Station and other locations under the Energy Management Contract (EMC) model, empowering low-carbon transformation in the transportation sector with green energy and supporting the construction of a regional new energy system.
Based on the idle roofs of transportation stations, the project will construct a distributed photovoltaic system adopting the “self-consumption, surplus power to grid” model, effectively reducing the comprehensive energy cost of the stations. The charging infrastructure will be planned and equipped to high standards, with nearly 100 charging parking spaces at each station, which can efficiently meet the charging demand of nearly 1,000 vehicles including buses, commercial vehicles, online car-hailing and taxis. It will fully address the shortage of new energy supporting infrastructure in the region and improve the comprehensive service capacity of transportation stations.
