Guiding Opinions of Hunan Province on Accelerating the Construction of a Modern Industrial System*: Optimize Coal-Fired Power Support and Actively Develop New Energy  

On November 20, the People's Government of Hunan Province issued guiding opinions on accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system. The opinions propose to build an important domestic production base for new energy power generation equipment. Develop high-energy-efficiency energy-saving equipment and high-efficiency energy-saving technologies such as waste heat, pressure, and gas utilization. Promote the industrialization of nuclear fuel processing, nuclear energy equipment, and nuclear technology applications in an orderly manner. Build a strong energy network, optimize coal-fired power support, actively develop new energy, strengthen the construction of power transmission channels into Hunan from other regions, improve the new energy storage system, perfect automobile charging and hydrogen refueling facilities, and actively develop distributed energy and microgrids.
