Recently, the near-zero carbon building project at Shenzhen Luohu Management Center Building, invested and constructed by ChinaTec Energy Group Co., Ltd., has been fully put into operation.

Located in Luohu District, Shenzhen, the Luohu Management Center Building serves as an important office venue for the Luohu District Committee and District Government, with a total floor area of approximately 55,000 square meters. Empowered by ChinaTec Energy’s integrated "5+1" solution—comprising "photovoltaic + energy storage + charging stations + high-efficiency equipment rooms + energy-saving lighting + smart carbon neutrality platform"—the project has achieved a dual leap in energy utilization efficiency and green low-carbon performance, providing a replicable and scalable "Luohu model" for the green transformation of existing public buildings nationwide.
In terms of energy-saving renovations, the project upgraded core equipment in the facility rooms and introduced an in-depth optimized energy-saving control system. This system intelligently adjusts equipment operation based on environmental parameters, significantly reducing the building’s overall energy consumption while ensuring indoor comfort.
Regarding photovoltaic power generation, the project fully utilizes rooftop and parking lot spaces to install a distributed photovoltaic system with a total installed capacity of 450 kWp. It is expected to generate 330,000 kWh of electricity annually, providing clean and reliable green power for the building.
For the ultra-fast charging system, the project is equipped with 480 kW ultra-fast charging facilities, including one 600A liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging gun, four 120 kW fast charging guns, and two V2G (vehicle-to-grid) charging piles. The system is fully compatible with both old and new national standard vehicle models, supports high-power single/dual-gun charging, and features intelligent functions such as online fault diagnosis, OTA remote upgrades, and safety protection alerts.
In energy storage, the supporting 500 kW/1044 kWh energy storage station not only enables "peak shaving and valley filling" to reduce electricity costs but also serves as an emergency power supply to ensure critical load demand, effectively enhancing power supply reliability and power quality.
For energy-efficient lighting, a smart lighting system is adopted, which automatically adjusts based on human presence and light levels to achieve "lighting on demand." Relevant energy consumption data is fed in real time into the carbon neutrality management platform, supporting energy usage analysis and dynamic optimization of energy-saving strategies.
Regarding the carbon neutrality management platform, it integrates multiple functions such as energy metering, carbon emission management, and equipment maintenance. Relying on data visualization analysis, energy efficiency evaluation, and intelligent alerts, the platform enables refined management and scientific decision-making for the building’s energy system.
The successful implementation of the near-zero carbon building project at Shenzhen Luohu Management Center Building not only demonstrates ChinaTec Energy’s comprehensive capabilities in building energy efficiency and new energy applications but also provides a systematic and replicable reference model for near-zero carbon operations of similar public buildings.
In the future, ChinaTec Energy will continue to advance innovation in green and low-carbon technologies, supporting the green and low-carbon transformation of more buildings with precise and systematic solutions, and contributing to the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals.
